Glad to see you are up for the challenge!
1/2 today.
Ran for 30 minutes hard and did some crunches (or what I call crunches) at the halfway point. Then came home and did this really weird thing at the edge of the couch...kind of a body lift, with my hands behind my back. I did two sets of 20.
Any runners out there? I need some tips. I have developed these serious blisters on the inside of my arches of both feet. A) I have the wrong shoes B) I have the wrong stride C) toughen up sissy boy - this is what runners do.
Any thoughts?
Still 100 % of my starting weight, but not for long chumps. I am going to win this thing.

Seriously? Yep, this is part of the running thing. Welcome to blisters and calluses. Maybe with a little luck you will even lose a toenail in it all. Run on!
Toughen up sissy boy! As mentioned by ascott365, welcome to the club :) I recommend going to a specialty running shop, they will fit you for the correct shoes for you stride, and get good running dryfit socks. Also put some talcum powder or baby powder on your feet, this will help with the moisture and rubbing. Both will make a huge difference.
There is a Snail's Pace Running Shop in Laguna Hills. I have only been to the one in Fountain Vally, but this is a good place to get some shoes. Or The Running Lab in the Orange Circle.
There is also a Fleet Feet in Laguna Niguel near Fred's. They are great too.
