Kinda beat from yesterday's festivities. Still managed to go for a mid morning session. Bump was on it and the tide was slowing it down but I was able to get several waves. Water is still freezing.
Swell seems to be picking up a bit so I'm hopeful tomorrow's dawn patrol will yield some good surf. Hopefully the winds calm down and I get some glassy conditions.
Is anyone else surfing? Seriously, no standings, no word from other "competitors". This surf off has become more of a personal quest than anything else. I've got one less session than the number of days in summer because I took yesterday off. The Mrs. is going out of town so I'll be able to double up on sessions soon. Hopefully the water/surf/weather cooperate.
